D.I.Y { Country Garden Bridal Shower }

 I had the honor of being a bridesmaid a few months back. The bride-to-be's sister planned the bridal shower and asked me for help because she was clueless with decorating and event planning! Of course, I was stoked! Immediately ideas raced through my mind, and this is what naturally happens when I get a creative project at hand. The fact that we saw eye to eye made it so much more fun! She wanted a country garden bridal theme, and that was what I gave her :). Oh yes... and it does say "b*tches, I'm getting married"! ;D

The parlay was held in her sister's backyard. Vases filled with fresh flowers and self-made pom poms hung from a beautiful big tree. The background behind the dessert table is white cotton and white lace curtains.

Coral and mint green was part of her wedding color... So I made dining mats with coral lace. I had extra popsicle sticks from other projects, so I wrote sweet phrases and placed them on top of the mats.

For the banner, I used this gorgeous frame I bought at a flea market. I designed the letters on regular paper and glued them on cardstock, then cut them. Note: glue or tape some weight on the back of the letters so it doesn't fly all over the place!

  1. I really cannot think about hosting such a picture perfect party all by myself. The bride-to-be's sister had done an amazing job for this party. My sister is getting married soon so I will also prefer hosting a shower for her but will book the rental event space NYC for an easy yet enjoyable bash.
