Vintaged Foyer Storage Bench

 

This is a piece that gave me anxiety... For one, I couldn't wait to see the final look of it. Second, someone had painted it 4 colors prior and did not bother to remove any of the previous layers. So there was a whole LOT of mad sanding. It took longer than it should have.

 

Again, I used a Powder Tiffany Blue and refreshed it with some Antique Gold paint. This turned out exactly how I had imagined it. Everything is about done, but I do plan on installing a shelf inside near the top, and a few hooks on both outer sides to hang coats, bags. This piece will definitely look great by the door, hallway and even inside your bedroom.

 

 

 

 

 It was love at first sight when I saw the hardware, gold trimmings and the chicken wire. Oh! It also has a lock and key that still functions! Very stoked about that!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Photos of before. I completely forgot to take the photos prior to the makeover, but you can see how bad it was before as there were mirrors installs on the inside. It was a mess, but it turned out beautiful!
